Touchan Fiddler holds the Recreation/Fundraising Chair.

The recreation portfolio contains all aspects of recreation, including but not limited to, sports, recreation and leisure activities.

The responsibilities of the recreation chair are as follows;

To advise the youth council on all recreation issues

Take initiative to inform NAN youth about opportunities that arise in the area of recreation.

The recreation chair is also holds the fundaising portfolio.The fundraising chair is key to the youth council becoming a self-sufficient group. Some responsibilities of the fundraising chair are as follows:

Leading the council in efforts in order to beome self-sufficient. This can include proposal writing, fundraising campaigns, and financial matters.

Researching possible funding sources in the private and public sector

Advising the youth council on possible initiatives the will increase the productivity of the council in delivering programs and activities to NAN Youth.

Networking with other organizations that are youth oriented or youth driven to develop partnerships.
